Allah instructs us to be good and dutiful to our parents. Whether one or both of them reach old age, then we should not say so much as "uff" to them and speak gently to them.
In Surah AL Baqarah, verse 83, the Quran says:
لَا تَعْبُدُونَ إِلَّا اللَّهَ وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا
"Do not worship except Allah ; and to parents do good”
